A.D. After Death Book 2
This is the finalé of a fantastic little mini-series. Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire are a pair of powerhouse storytellers in comics today. They came together to tell a fantastical story about what would happen to the human race if we solved the problem of death and we all lived forever. This is the final book in large-book format and the past two books have been very interesting so make sure you check this one out.

This is theist book of the ‘League of Shadows’ storyline. The last several issues have built up to this moment. It’s Batman, Batwoman, Batwing, Azreal, Clayface and Cassandra Cain versus Lady Shiva and the League of Shadows for the fate of Gotham City. It’s been hinted that at least one member of the Bat-family won’t survive this final fight. This issue will be at the top of my own reading pile for this week.

This book collects the first 6 issues of the new series that reunited Alias creators Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos. We pick up with modern day Jessica as she is leaving prison for unknown crime. All we know is that everyone has turned their backs on her, including the father of their child, Luke Cage. She did what she thought was right to protect the ones she loves but it might end up tearing her family apart.
