Ryan Reynolds Drops First Image of ‘Deadpool 2’ Character Domino

Deadpool 2, Twentieth Century Fox

To say that Ryan Reynolds is jazzed about playing Deadpool and working on the set of Deadpool 2 is an understatement. Reynolds is living a dream, and he is the happiest person in the world to be Deadpool. This is not only great for the studio, but its amazing that the fans are actually getting an actor that isn’t just in the role for a paycheck. There really is nobody more perfect for the role. It is more a perfect casting, than Reynolds was for the role of Van Wilder.

Today, like everyday, was a riot fest on Reynolds Twitter account. But something about today was different. Today Reynolds introduced the world to his new co-star in Deadpool 2, Zazie Beetz as Domino. The meta shout out is perfect for the Merc with a Mouth. Domino is posing on her very own Deadpool rug. Which is a callback to Deadpool’s first image, posing on a bearskin rug just like Burt Reynolds.

Reynold has yet to show us Josh Brolin as Cable, but Domino is just as good. He tweets, “Some people just know how to work a red carpet.” Domino is a fellow mercenary who has mutant ability to change her own luck.

Deadpool 2 will see the Merc with a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) and Domino (Zazie Beetz) face off against a new powerful mutant, Cable (Josh Brolin). He might have his hands full in this one.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters on June 1, 2018.
