Abrams spared his life in The Force Awakens. In the final stages of marketing Disney is unleashing for The Last Jedi, its mostly all about Poe. Poe will bring the hurt back to the Rebellion, and these short clips prove why he is the best pilot in the universe.

Mark Hamill recently shed some light on the inner turmoil facing Luke Skywalker:
In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Luke has lost confidence in his ability to make good choices. It haunts him to the core. But he hasn’t gone to the dark side. This isn’t an evil version of him. But it’s still an incarnation of the character I never expected. It has pulled me out of my comfort zone. It’s a real challenge.
The wait is almost over.
