James Bond changed the world of fiction and the real world all in one fell swoop. The series of books, penned by British author Ian Fleming, turned into an iconic series of movies starring some of film’s most-iconic actors.

James Bond would not only influence cinema but become a cultural icon as well. From the beginning, the producers would heavily market Bond because he appealed to both men and women.

The first two of his films were proof enough that Bondmandia existed.

Check out the synopsis below:

“Many of the iconic aspects of a typical James Bond film were established in Dr. No:

the film begins with an introduction to the character through the view of a gun barrel and a highly stylised main title sequence, both of which were created by Maurice Binder.[2]

It also established the iconic “James Bond” theme music. Production designer Ken Adam established an elaborate visual style that is one of the hallmarks of the film series.”
