FX Networks and Hulu unveiled two gripping TV spots for Alien: Earth on June 8, 2025. It’s heightening anticipation for the series’ August 12 premiere. Titled “Crate” and “Containment,” the 30-second teasers, released during the Xbox Games Showcase, offer a chilling glimpse into Noah Hawley’s sci-fi horror series, set to stream on Hulu and FX, with international availability on Disney+.

The spots, following a full trailer, blend the Alien franchise’s iconic dread with a fresh Earth-based narrative. Check out the TV Spots below:

“Collision Imminent” captures the essence of classic Alien films, showcasing the USCSS Maginot’s catastrophic crash into Prodigy City in 2120. Led by Sydney Chandler as Wendy, a hybrid with human consciousness in a robotic body, a tactical team confronts predatory life forms. It’s hinted to include Xenomorphs and other threats—within the wreckage.

Flickering emergency lights and a haunting score amplify the tension, evoking the 1979 film’s claustrophobic horror. “Containment,” a condensed version of the main trailer, emphasizes a Xenomorph’s POV, racing through the ship as an automated voice warns of a breach, intensifying the stakes of an uncontained threat.

Set two years before Ridley Scott’s Alien, the series explores a corporate-ruled Earth dominated by Weyland-Yutani and four other conglomerates. The spots tease Wendy’s role as a prototype in Prodigy’s quest for immortality, alongside Timothy Olyphant as her synthetic mentor, Kirsh.

The cast, including Alex Lawther and Essie Davis, promises a dynamic ensemble facing multiple alien species. This is hinted at by a line about “five different life forms from the darkest corners of the universe.” Hawley’s retro-futuristic vision avoids Prometheus’s bioweapon lore, focusing on corporate greed and survival.

X posts reflect fan excitement, with users calling the teasers “amazing” and speculating about a Predator cameo due to familiar sound effects, though some express skepticism about the Earth setting.
