This is the finalé of a fantastic little mini-series. Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire are a pair of powerhouse storytellers in comics today. They came together to tell a fantastical story about what would happen to the human race if we solved the problem of death and we all lived forever. This is the final book in large-book format and the past two books have been very interesting so make sure you check this one out.

This is theist book of the ‘League of Shadows’ storyline. The last several issues have built up to this moment. It’s Batman, Batwoman, Batwing, Azreal, Clayface and Cassandra Cain versus Lady Shiva and the League of Shadows for the fate of Gotham City. It’s been hinted that at least one member of the Bat-family won’t survive this final fight. This issue will be at the top of my own reading pile for this week.

One of the first issues of the various tie-in series for Marvel’s big event Secret Empire. Since Hydra forces have taken control of America, former head of SHIELD, Daisy Johnson has gone into hiding.
