In a now-deleted tweet, Derrickson added an image of Namor and Doctor Strange from the comics. The post also asked, “Are You Experienced?” Was this a hint at what is coming in the sequel? Some fans think so.

Check out his post below:

Fans speculate that the sequel will have underwater scenes, and with the recent success of Aquaman, this might be a possibility. In the comics, the two characters teamed up to take down an underwater monster.

According to Marvel’s Kevin Feige, the studio cannot use Namor because they don’t own the rights to him. The only way that Marvel could use him is as a supporting character, like they had to do with The Hulk.

Doctor Strange 2 hasn’t set a date to begin production.
