Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Entertainment dropped the first trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong the yesterday. The feature film simultaneously hits theaters and HBO Max on March 26.

Godzilla vs. Kong‘s the final film in the planned four-film MonsterVerse that began with 2014s Godzilla. The other films in the quadrilogy include Kong: Skull Island (2017) and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019).
Adam Wingard helms the project, which generates the same emotions as Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim. One thing’s for certain, Godzilla vs. Kong follows its predecessors in having epic music backing the first trailer.
Both monsters are on a path to nothing but battle, a battle that appears to have been raging for ages.
“Legends collide in ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.
Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe.

The film stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza Gonzalez, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demian Bichir star.
