If you are one of the masses that can’t stand the Holiday season, then congratulations, you’re halfway through now. Thanksgiving 2018 is in the bag, and Christmas is right around the corner. Of course, you have already completed your holiday shopping on Black Friday and this week’s Cyber Monday…right? Netflix is here to help you with all of the down-time you are about to have through the Christmas break.
Netflix is packing a punch for the final month of 2018, and overloading their streaming service with Netflix Originals. But don’t think that December will only see Original films because the service is not skimping on big-time releases either!
There is a lot to look forward to in December.
The biggest release coming this month is Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War! If you are one of the few that have yet to see the biggest film of the last decade, then now is your chance. There is nothing like an Infinity Gauntlet snap just in time for Christmas. Catch up before Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3rd. December also sees the final season of Voltron: Legendary Defender. It is a fantastic animated series and one you should really be watching. This month, the streaming service also adds Bride of Chucky (just in time for Halloween…), District 9, and Hellboy.
Are you looking for comedy? This month brings viewers Friday, Friday After Next, and Shaun of the Dead. Are you looking for something with a more serious tone? This month, Netflix is also adding Andy Serkis’ Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. This new, dark version of The Jungle Book was supposed to hit theaters for Warner Bros., but plans change. The film also hosts a ton of big named voice talent.
