Marvel finally gives us the first look at Avengers: Infinity War, outside of that teaser trailer that was shown at San Diego Comic-Con this past summer. Although this trailer doesn’t have the amaze factor that the SDCC reel had, there is still a lot here to take in. If there is any doubt that Infinity War and Avengers 4 will struggle with a cast so large, you can put those fears to rest. This trailer is great, and shows us how big Infinity War actually will be.

There is no doubt that Infinity War is going to be epic, and this trailer is full of scope and heroes. If it doesn’t make you excited for what the Russo Bros. (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) have done here, then you might need to go to the hospital, because you are dead. Go on, I’m serious. Code blue.
The trailer shows just how much of a threat Thanos is to the Avengers. It is going to be a trial for the World’s Greatest Heroes. Where should we start? We get Tony Stark on what appears to be an alien planet, given the binary star system, the Hulkbuster armor is back, a ton of Wakanda action, and Cap is looking great in his beard. It would be a big disappointment is Cap didn’t go by ‘Nomad’ in these films.
I want to note that the Hulkbuster armor doesn’t move like it did when Tony Stark wore it in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it could be Bruce Banner wearing the suit. IF you look at how the suit moves, it is similar to the way the Hulk moves, rather than Iron Man. Also, the only other scene we see elements of the HB armor in the trailer, Bruce Banner is working on it. This also appears to be the first time that Natasha and Bruce will see each other since Hulk departed the planet at the end of Age of Ultron.
There are tons of character-crossover moments in this trailer. We see Bruce Banner with Doctor Strange and Wong, after Banner apparently crashes through the roof of the Sanctum Sanctorum on Bleeker Street. There’s more. Spidey is getting pummeled by Thanos, Cap and Bucky with the Black Panther, and finally Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy. A breakdown will come soon, because there is a lot to take in here. For now, just enjoy the trailer.
