If you are a fan of the Power Rangers, then you are in for a treat. With big franchises being all the rage in Hollywood, it is no surprise to hear that Power Rangers will get a sequel. According to Haim Saban, it is not just getting one sequel, it will get five.
In an interview with Variety, Haim Saban of Saban Entertainment said:
“We already have a six-movie story arc…. if this film is as successful as I hope on March 24, on March 25 we’ll have the first story meeting for Movie No. 2”
Reviews for the film are not good. The film current has a 42/100 on Metacritic, and a 44% on RottenTomatoes. The franchise does have enough loyal fan support to still be a big enough hit to warrant a sequel. The film is getting praise for Elizabeth Banks’ performance as Rita Repulsa.
Power Rangers stars Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Elizabeth Banks, Bryan Cranston and Bill Hader.
Power Rangers hits theaters on March 24.
