A new ‘Special Look’ trailer for Marvel’s Captain Marvel debuted during the College Football Championship game last night between Clemson and Alabama. The trailer has a large amount of new footage and tries to educate audiences more about Marvel’s Cosmic superpower.
“The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
The film will bring a few characters back to the MCU using Marvel’s amazing de-aging technology. We will get a young Phil Coulson and Nick Fury in the film, which is being compared to 48 Hrs. or Lethal Weapon in tone. The new trailer also boasts new footage of Jude Law’s secret (Mar-Vel) role.
Marvel also dropped three new Dolby 3D and IMAX posters for the film. You can see them below. Tickets for the film are now on sale.
