It is easy to dismiss Luc Besson’s new film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets as just another science fiction film, but this new clip should begin to prove that Valerian should be on everyone’s radar. The scope of the universe that Luc Besson (The Fifith Element) created for Valerian, is something to marvel at.
This new clip will show you exactly what the title of the film means. The clip features Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) as they enter the ‘City of a Thousand Planets’, otherwise known as Alpha. The city is a miracle in and of itself. It hosts thousands of planets and over 3000 races, with each race specializing in one aspect of the conglomerate society. There is a lot of information in this short clip. But we won’t spoil the film for you just quite yet.
