Oscars: The Complete 2018 Academy Awards Winner List

The Shape of Water, Fox Searchlight Pictures

The 90th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood and Highland Center in Hollywood, California took place last night. It was a night to be remembered, and not only because it was the 90th Academy Awards. So, who took top honors?

Guillermo Del Toro’s The Shape of Water took a hefty portion of the top honors at this year’s Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Score, and Best Production Design. Other notable winners included Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk (3)Coco (2), Darkest Hour (2), Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing (2), and Blade Runner 2049 (2). 

There were some notable Oscar winners this year. Roger Deakins won his first Oscar for his cinematography on Blade Runner 2049.  James Ivory became the oldest Academy Awards winner to date, and Jordan Peele became the first Black Oscar winner.
