Zack Snyder Drops the First Glimpse of ‘Aquaman’ in Action Underwater

Aquaman, Warner Brothers Pictures

In celebration of Zack Snyder’s birthday today, he dropped a glimpse of Aquaman (Jason Momoa) swimming up to what appears to be Ocean Master (Patrick Wilson). The King of Atlantis looks great in action under the sea. The underwater set looks incredible, and the way that the hero moves is exactly what I would expect it to look like.

Snyder drops the short clip on the social media site Vero, and tagged his location as Stage 23 at Warner Bros. Burbank studio lot. The footage will probably appear in the Justice League movie, but it might just be the first glimpse from the Aquaman stand-alone film.

Check out the post below:

The clip is brief, but it shows Aquaman swimming up to someone in armor. Could this be Orm, the half-brother of Arthur Curry (Aquaman)? Is this the first glimpse of Ocean Master, a big-time villain to Atlantis? Does this hint at the fact that Ocean Master could have a cameo in Justice League?

Although the footage is short, it looks like Atlantis will be different from anything we have ever seen on the big screen. It is vivid and elaborate.

Aquaman will center on Arthur Curry as a reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface. Jason Momoa is Aquaman. Also starring is Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko,  Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.

Do you think that Ocean Master will appear in Justice League? Or is this the first footage we have from Aquaman?
