A press kit released to the media includes a secret surprise for DC fans eagerly awaiting the release of Suicide Squad. The press kit includes a full cast list for the film, and confirms that we will see The Flash in Suicide Squad. Will this scene serve as another attempt The Flash will get to warn Batman about Darkseid’s impending arrival?
This would serve as a good way for DC to set all of their films in the same universe. Fans will accept Batman in the film, but getting another look at The Flash will be a welcomed surprise. Check out the press kit cast list image below:
The cast listing is order of appearance. A key thing to note here is that Headshot (Will Smith) shows up first in the film, and the Squad’s leader, Rick Flagg, will appear near the end. It appears as though the Harley Quinn Joker saga will be a major part of this film, unless these characters will be breezed through. The Flash shows up even before most of the main cast does in the film. This would hint that he will appear in the film a lot like he did in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
DC announced at Comic-Con that Suicide Squad takes place right after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It will be interesting to see how this movie plays out. I can’t wait to see how DC will bring Joker into their movie-verse late in Batman’s career. Not making a villain roughly the same age as Batman.
Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5th.
