The Arrowverse crossover will air over three nights, from Sunday, December 9th to Tuesday, December 11th. The event will start with an episode of The Flash. It is unknown how many characters we will see together but we do know The Flash, Superman and Green Arrow will share the screen together.
The crossover will see the debut of Ruby Rose as Batwoman as our heroes travel to Gotham City. Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman is returning and Lois Lane gets her big debut. However, who will play the role of the intrepid reporter?
Thankfully, the wait is over. Grimm alum Elizabeth Tulloch is portraying Lois Lane in the crossover. Her credits also include The Artist, family movie Alpha and Omega, and Concussion.
Elizabeth Tulloch is best known for playing Juliette Silverton/Eve in the Supernatural series Grimm. She will be the eighth actress to portray the part in live-action, and the second to play her on a CW/DC show (the first being Erica Durance).
She has big shoes to fill, but if the casting of Supergirl and Superman is anything to go by, then we will have nothing to worry about.
The other casting news we know is the introduction of Nora Fries. For those unaware of who she is, Nora Fries is the wife of Victor Freeze. Nora suffers from MacGregor’s Syndrome, and it is trying to save her that turns Victor into Mr. Freeze.
It’s unknown if Victor Freeze will also make an appearance as he’s currently on Gotham. However, with Gotham ending after this season it might open the door to the availability of more characters from the Batman mythos.
While Nora Fries is the wife of Victor, the casting is keeping it in the family too. Cassandra Jean Amell will portray Nora. If that surname sounds familiar to you that’s because she’s the wife of the Green Arrow, Stephen Amell.
Cassandra’s acting credits include Mad Men, One Tree Hill, and CSI: Miami. It’ll be interesting to see how Nora is shown given how loosely the Arrowverse adapts the comics.
