The fans clamored for a glimpse of Boba Fett throughout the first season of Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian on Disney+. Some even claim that the famous bounty hunter maybe showed up in the background of a scene, or his boots appeared.
It’s even rumored that Fett’s the mysterious figure at the end of Season 1 episode 5 “The Gunslinger” approaching the body of Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen)..
Well, Lucasfilm isn’t making fans wait any longer. Temuera Morrison, the actor who played Jango Fett inAttack of the Clones will appear in the second season of The Mandalorian.
Morrison returns as Boba Fett, Jango Fett’s cloned son. The same bounty hunter that appeared in The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi.
The character appeared to die in Return of the Jedi. The expanded universe went on to explain that Fett fought his way out of the Sarlacc Pitt.
Jeremy Bulloch portrayed Fett in the original trilogy. It’s only appropriate that Morrison show back up in the Star Wars universe as Boba Fett. He’s even age-appropriate for the role.
The only question I’m faced with is what happened to the Mando’s don’t ever take their helmets off rule? Season Two of The Mandalorian hits the Disney+ streaming service sometime in October.
