The beginning of every month is fantastic and a bit bittersweet for Netflix users. It is the time we say hello to a number of great new titles for our binging delights, but also the time we have to see a few great go the way of the dinosaur.
This isn’t a time to focus on the bad. This is the list of everything coming to Netflix this month, and a number of heavy-hitters are coming. There’s a number of dark titles coming to the streaming platform this spring, and April seems more like October.
The second season of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina drops, which if you haven’t had a chance to watch yet is fantastic. If you’re a Melissa Joan Hart fan, then this Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot is definitely for you. The show’s tone is broodier and darker than its predecessor.
A number of good Netflix originals also hit this month. The supernatural revenge thriller Suzanna: Buried Alive hits early this month. The zombie apocalypse flick Black Summer arrives on April 11.
The controversial original The Silence also hits this month, starring Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka and Miranda Otto. The film features a world under attack by creatures who hunt humans using sound. If you feel like this is a familiar film, it is the basic premise of A Quiet Place released last year. The Silence hits the platform on April 12.
A few other notable releases are the Netflix originals Ultraman, Rilakkuma and Kaoru, Baki: Part 2, and Ingress: The Animation.
