Now that we got that out-of-the-way. Logan is a great film, and ends on a really sad note. Some cried, while others just looked at the ground, because Logan was the perfect swan-song for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The film didn’t really need a post-credits scene, but the crew did give fans a pre-film scene featuring everyone’s favorite Merc with a mouth, Deadpool! It was the perfect teaser, for Deadpool 2. Although the film is still a long way from completion, it was great to see Ryan Reynolds in the Deadpool suit again this quickly.

Although the filmmakers felt that the film didn’t need a post-credits scene, Banana-Dragon Productions disagreed, and so they made their own. This fan-made Logan post-credits scene feels like it was plucked from the cutting room floor. It embodies everything that is Deadpool, and would have paid respect, along with bringing a fair amount of humor to the end of an extremely sad film. Check out the clip below:

Logan takes place in the year 2029, where mutant births have become extremely rare. The defenders of mutant kind, the X-Men, are long gone, and the only remains of them are an old and struggling Charles Xavier and a weary Logan. Logan’s vaunted healing factor has slowed, and at times doesn’t seem to work at all. When a young mutant needs his help, Logan has to unsheathe his claws once more. His job isn’t over yet.

Logan stars Hugh Jackman (Logan), Boyd Holbrook (Donald Pierce), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Dafne Keen (Laura Kinney/X-23), Doris Morgado (Maria), Stephen Merchant (Caliban), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Gabriela), and Richard E. Grant (Dr. Zander Rice).

There is currently no release date for Deadpool 2Logan is still in theaters.
