Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will finish the Skywalker saga while also wrapping up the story of the new heroes and villains. Carrie Fisher‘s legacy will continue through deleted footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Newcomers to the cast include Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Dominic Monaghan, and Matt Smith.
Mark Hamill will reprise his role as Luke Skywalker, although it’s unclear in what capacity after his death at the end of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will release in the US December 20 with an earlier release date of December 19 in the UK.
