Sony Pictures surprised everyone by dropping the first trailer for the Jared Leto-led Morbius this week. The upcoming adaptation of the Marvel comic of the same name.

Jared Leto stars as Michael Morbius, a scientist plagued with a rare blood disease that is quickly killing him. The good doctor sets out to cure himself, but in the process gains abilities akin to vampirism.
The trailer is fantastic, with a shining moment coming when the trailer reveals that this film’s set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This sheds further light on the Sony/Marvel deal, which looks to share characters in both the MCU and the Sony Spider-Verse.
Morbius star Jared Leto, Matt Smith as Loxias Crown, Jared Harris, Adria Arjona, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson.
Daniel Espinosa directs the debut, which firmly sets Jared Leto in both the DCEU as history’s worst Joker and the MCU as a living vampire.
