WandaVision hits Disney+ in a few days. Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige wasted no time to talk about what’s on the horizon for Marvel Studios across the spectrum, including Deadpool 3 and more.

A future MCU project in the pipe is Deadpool 3. Rumors indicate the film may retain the R-rating the first two Deadpool’s nabbed. This would make Deadpool 3 the first R-Rated superhero film from Marvel.

Feige spoke with Collider confirming that Deadpool 3 will keep the R-rating. The film’s also set in the main MCU continuity. Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux are working up the script with star Ryan Reynolds overseeing the process:

“It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor.

We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun.

Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.”

Feige spoke with Deadline about the possibility of a Marvel show revival of Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist. He didn’t shoot the idea down. Rather, he said he’s still open to the possibility:

“Well, certainly you’ve seen what we announced at Comic-Con a year and half ago and on Disney Investor Day a few weeks ago, so that’s our focus.

But I’ve been at Marvel long enough to never say never about anything.”

Don’t get too excited yet. Marvel has a full plate ahead of them on the schedule.

Marvel’s currently filming Thor: Love and Thunder and Spider-Man 3. Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel 2 look to begin filming sometime this year.
