Sharon Stone has announced that she will have a small role in an upcoming Marvel movie. This is news that could potentially break the internet, and many sites are running through the normal assumptions about who she might be portraying on the big screen. Here at PopcornSushi, we think that there is a good chance that she will be in the upcoming film, Ant-Man and the Wasp, starring as Janet Van Dyne the original Wasp. She made the announcement while appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corbin. She was a guest along with Sebastian Stan (Captain America: Civil War), who we all know as the Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
During the interview, Stone stated:
I am going to do a Marvel movie. I’m just doing a wee part in a Marvel movie, upcoming, and I can’t tell, because you know, you have to sign confidentiality agreements. But I’m going to do a wee part in a Marvel movie now. That’s it.

The news was a surprise to Stan. Did Sharon Stone use the term ‘wee’ to mean that her part is a small role, or does it mean that it is literally a small role, referring to the size of the heroine she could be portraying. If this is her role, that would mean that in the Ant-Man sequel Janet Van Dyne would either returning from the quantum realm, or we would just see her in flashback sequences.
The logical assumption would be that she would be returning from the Micro verse, a place that we saw Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) return from in Ant-Man. This would be the best case scenario for Hank Pym, who previously thought that no one could return from the micro verse until he saw Lang do it. This would be the perfect motivation for Pym to continue to star in the MCU.
