Francesca Findabair
Francesca is an elven sorceress who becomes the queen and duchess of the Dol Blathanna elves. In Elder speech, she’s known as Enid an Gleanna, Daisy of the Valleys. She’s also said to be the most beautiful woman in the world by a large margin.
Not only is she a sorceress but Francesa is one of the founding members of the Lodge of the Sorceresses. This happens after the fall of the Brotherhood of Sorcerers.
Portraying her in the show is Mecia Simson. Her credits aren’t as padded out as the actors. Her most notable appearance is as herself on Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model. She’s also been in the short movie He Who Has It All.
Lydia Van Bredevoort
Lydia Van Bredevoort is the assistant and personal secretary to the Mage Vilgefortz. Moreover, Lydia joining the cast adds another sorceress to the already growing list. She’s also a painter and has a strange face because of an illusion she creates.
She uses the illusion to hide a facial disfigurement due to an experiment that went wrong. It’s unknown how she’ll be portrayed in the show, but the source material has her being able to communicate only through telepathy.
Lydia Van Bredevoort is going to be played by Aisha Fabienne Ross. She’s in The Danish Girl, Alleycats and Fat Legs.
