2019 Oscars: And the Winners Are…

2019 Oscars

The 2019 Oscars took place on Sunday night, and it was a night of shockers. Green Book took top honors this year, nabbing Best Picture, Original Screenplay, and Supporting Actor awards.

Although Green Book took top honors, the film wasn’t the biggest winner of the night.

That distinction went to Bohemian Rhapsody, taking four gongs in the Best Actor, Best Editing, and two sound categories. Netflix’s Roma landed awards for Best Director, Best Foreign Language Film, and Best Cinematography.

Marvel‘s Black Panther also grabbed three honors including Production Design, Costume Design and Best Score.

A Star is Born, Vice, First Man, BlacKKKlansman, If Beale Street Could Talk, Free Solo, The Favourite, and Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse all walked away winning one award.
