The first trailer for Annihilation, Alex Garland’s follow-up to 2014s Ex Machina. The film looks dreamy and interesting. Paramount Pictures unveiled the first image from the film yesterday. Today brings the first trailer for the film, starring Natalie Portman entering an alien wasteland without fear.

Based on Jeff Vanermeer’s best-selling novel, Annihilation follows a group of four scientists that travel into a massive disaster zone, in search of the cause. Things go awry when the missing husband of one of the scientists return. Ex Machina was a breath of fresh air in 2014, and I have high hopes for this movie.
The film stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac.
