Trailer for ‘I Kill Giants’ is a Fantastic Trip into the Soul of a Child

The first trailer for I Kill Giants is a lovely trip into the mind of a young girl. How much of her giant-killing is real or a figment of her imagination is to be determined. One thing is for sure. This adaptation seems to have captured the innocent essence of the comics in more ways than we could have hoped.

Check out the first trailer for I Kill Giants below:

The film is adapted from a comic book by Joe Kelly and J.M. Ken Niimura. In the books, it is very vague as to whether Barbara’s adventures in Giant-Slaying are real or imaginary. She is a bullied young girl who deals with a large amount f daily stress, so is she capable of making this all up? It appears that the film will embrace this obscurity, while showing us the fantastic world in Barbara’s mind, or is it? The film looks as though it will blur this line a little bit more than the books do, adding to Barbara’s journey.
