This is a movie 30 years in the making. Nobody (including me) thought there was a chance to make a third Bill & Ted movie, but here it is. The best thing about it, it’s not a dream, the film’s really happening! Check out the first trailer for Bill and Ted Face the Music below:
Bill and Ted 3 brings Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves back together as surfer-rockers Bill and Ted. We’re back in San Dimas, California, home of the rock band The Wild Stallions who should’ve saved the world with their music. But these two never wrote the song to save everyone.
They must get back into the time-traveling phone booth (sound familiar?) to get the song that saves time and space from…themselves.
Last February, director Dean Parisot said Face the Music is all about the big event we’ve only heard about in the last two films. Parisot says,
“We’ve gone from a homework assignment to saving all space and time! We bypassed all those possible traumas in the middle. They have an hour and 18 minutes. So they’re in trouble.
And let’s say that they have to travel all over the place to try and figure it out.”
Face the Music also stars Jayma Mays and Erinn Hayes as the recast Princess wives of bill and Ted, their daughters, Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving, and William Sadler’s back as the Grim Reaper.
