DC Fandome: ‘Wonder Woman 84’ Releases Final Trailer

Wonder Woman 84 is the next release for DC movies. It has been delayed several times due to the pandemic and other external factors. That means we should have seen what Kristen Wiig looks like as the formidable Cheetah by now.

But don’t fret as Patty Jenkins and the cast are at DC Fandome where they are showing a new trailer. The trailer shows off more than the previous ones day and you can take a look at it below:

There’s a lot to unpack in there. It looks like Max Lord has some affiliation with the President, if he isn’t the President himself and he’s offering the chance to have whatever you want. Of course, Barbara Minerva feels slighted by life and wants more.

Meanwhile, there are some very spectacular fights and scenery. The movie is totally getting down with the 80s aesthetic.

And yes, that is Barbara doing a Palpatine spin in what appears to be the White House. It’s going to be interesting to see how this happens. As we see from the trailer, Diana and Barbara start off as good friends so seeing them become enemies will be a roller coaster of emotions.

This is going to be Patty Jenkin’s second last Wonder Woman movie as she confirmed she will complete her trilogy then step down. She is also involved in a spin-off movie about the Amazonians of Themyscira.

Gal Gadot returns as Diana Prince, with Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. This time she faces off against Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and Barbara Ann Minerva (Kristen Wiig).

It’s unclear if anybody else from the first movie is going to return. Since they are set in different time periods, it looks unlikely but stranger things have happened in the universe of comics.
