WandaVision is going to be Marvel’s first limited series on Disney+. It features Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) in weird situations. It looks to be set in different locations.
However, when we last saw Vision he was dead.
This will be interesting to see how he is back. Theories suggest WandaVision is either in Wanda’s head or she has created multiple worlds. It’s loosely based on the Vision comics where he lives a normal life with a family.
Take a look at the recently released trailer below:
Prior to the trailer’s release, we knew Wanda would don the original Scarlet Witch costume. Now, it looks like we’ll be seeing the original Vision as well. Although, it seems these might be Halloween costumes. Still, it’s a nice nod to the past.
Furthermore, the series introduces Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness. In the source material, she is a powerful witch from the Salem trials. Also, Agatha is a mentor to Wanda. As this series is pushing Wanda to become Scarlet Witch, it seems Agatha may fill this role again.
I don’t know about anyone else, but WandaVision looks like it’ll be crazy and I’m ready for it. We’ll be seeing human Vision again as well as a grown-up Monica Rambeau. Monica is the daughter of Carol Danvers’ best friend, Maria Rambeau.
Monica is being played by Teynoah Parris. She’s joining Marvel Cinematic Universe alums Kat Dennings and Randall Park. Yes, Darcy Lewis and Agent Jimmy Woo are returning for the show. Although, what part they’ll play in it is unclear as of yet.
However, theories believe we’ll be seeing S.W.O.R.D in the series. Rumors are Monica is working for the organisation. It isn’t out of the realm of possibilities that Darcy and Jimmy Woo are too.
Moreover, Marvel and Disney have also revealed a new poster for WandaVision.
WandaVision premieres on Disney+ in 2020.
