Double Flash Surprise in CW’s Crossover Event ‘Crisis’

The last two episodes of CW’s DC crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths aired last night, and had one hell of a crossover surprise for fans. The episode introduced Grant Gustin’s CW Flash to Ezra Miller’s DCEU Flash.

Ezra Miller plays the Flash in DCEU films such as Justice League and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The cameo was unexpected, in a crossover event that didn’t seem had any additional room for characters.

The exchange was a 90-second conversation between Miller and Gustin that took place in the Speedforce. The two compare supersuits with Miller’s version of the character not even having a hero name at the time of the conversation.

This means that at a minimum, the conversation happens before Justice League.

Miller’s still attached to star in a standalone film for the DCEU, but the timeline on that film’s in a holding pattern. Miller previously said he loves the character and the CW series.

This means that the DCEU officially joins the CW-verse along with the likes of 1960s Batman, the Burton era Batman films, 1990s The Flash series, Smallville, Lucifer, and Titans.
