Paramount Pictures is keeping the star’s new look for Sonic the Hedgehog under tight wraps. According to rumors, the studio and SEGA had to change the look of the character for the big screen. The teaser trailer is the first glimpse fans see of the character and that is only in silhouette.
The teaser trailer spurned a wildfire of internet rumors and memes that focused on the Hedgehog’s insanely toned legs. The studio keeping the character’s appearance on lockdown has only made speculation grow.
Now comes a rumor that some promo art for the film has leaked online, and the character doesn’t look bad (if this is real promo art). Rumors say that SEGA was not necessarily happy with the final changes the studio made to the characters eyes. But this art doesn’t look bad at all.
Check out the leaked image below:
The look is really close to the way that the character looks in the games. Sonic the Hedgehog stars Ben Schwartz as Sonic, James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, Jim Carrey as Dr. Ivo Robotnik, Tika Sumpter as Mrs. Wachowski, and Natasha Rothwell, Neal McDonough and Adam Pally.
Sonic the Hedgehog hits theaters on November 8.
