Popcorn Sushi’s 8 Movies Set in Scotland to Watch

To some people, Scotland is the land of William Wallace, Haggis, Tartan, and Kilts. However, it’s much more than that and interestingly it’s where the first television was invented. Scotsman John Logie Baird is the father of the television and his invention is essential in the 21st Century.

Recently, Scotland has been a hub for Hollywood movies to film. Oscar Hits such as 1917 used Scotland while Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame used several locations. A portion of Infinity War sees a group of the Avengers in Edinburgh and a fight takes place there.

If you ever go to Edinburgh, you’ll see a plaque commemorating this, as well as the kebab shop where Wanda and Vision find out Tony Stark is in space.

However, Scotland also has a list of movies that are set in the country. While some of them aren’t made by Scottish directors or feature a Scottish cast, they are still set in Scotland.

The first of the eight movies set in Scotland is a cult classic.
