Luke Skywalker Returns as a ‘Spooky’ Force Ghost in ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’?
It was a sad day for Star Wars fans, when the credits rolled for The Last Jedi, and Luke Skywalker was killed off. He will most likely return in Episode IX, but in what capacity remains to be seen. In a recent interview, Mark Hamill talks about how he would like Luke’s Force Ghost to be different from the other.
In a recent interview with Radio Times, Mark Hamill spoke about how he hopes that Luke’s Force Ghost in Episode IX would be the first ‘frightening’ in the Star Wars universe:
Well I thought, if he’s a Force Ghost I’d love to see him used in a way that hasn’t been done before. I mean let’s use the word ghost! That implies that it’s frightening. What if he… even in some other form, I think it’d be funny… well, I don’t want to give it away. I do have ideas; most of them are so terrible that they don’t consider them at all! But like I say, I don’t know if I am going to be back.
