Marvel’s Avengers is the latest console adaptation of Marvel’s number one team. Even though it had a rocky start, the game is picking up and its issues are being fixed. Currently, players can control Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Ms Marvel, Thor, and the two Hawkeyes.
New characters are meant to be added quicker, but due to covid-19 and the restrictions it placed on the developers, it’s taking longer than fans hoped. The main game revolves around Kamala Khan’s origin as she re-assembles the Avengers to fight the growing threat of Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M).
Marvel’s Avengers provides single and multiplayer content, although most of its newer content is for online play. The latest addition to the game was Clint Barton after Kate Bishop. It features the Avengers travelling to the future to find a world ravaged by Kree Sentinels.
Thankfully, we’re finally getting new content next month, and it seems like it’ll be the biggest update yet. Soon fans will be able to play as King T’Challa, also known as the Black Panther, in the War for Wakanda expansion.
With some heavy hitters already in the voice cast, fans wondered who Crystal Dynamics brought on to play the iconic King of Wakanda.
Well, it’s good news for fans as they’re using a fan-favorite actor. Lending his talent to T’Challa is none other than Christopher Judge. If the name doesn’t sound familiar, I’ll say one word… BOY.
That’s right, Kratos himself is coming to Marvel’s Avengers. While we wait for the next God of War, playing as Black Panther will be the next best thing. Crystal Dynamics are streaming today at 10 am PT on Twitch with him.
Their other guest is Evan Narcisse, who consulted on the narrative of the War for Wakanda expansion. Comic book fans know him as the writer of Rise of the Black Panther.
It’s good to know they’re bringing in comic writers to help with the narrative. It shows they’re trying to provide the best version of Avengers they possibly can.
Marvel’s Avengers is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One Series X and PC.
