Ranking Every Captain America Suit in the MCU
#1 The Scale Mail Suit (Avengers: Endgame)
The best suit from the MCU hands-down is the scale mail suit from Avengers: Endgame. The scales almost appeared in Civil War, but didn’t make the cut. In certain scenes you can see the scale mail peeking out through the battle damage on the Infinity War suit.
It’s a nice touch. In Endgame, the covers are gone, and the mail’s fully exposed. The mail’s a nice shout out to the very first appearance of Cap in the comics, and coupled with an overall look of the Cap suit from the last couple of films he appeared in.
There’s something beautiful about circles. Star Wars did it well. The original films were all about fathers and sons, cyclical. Marvel’s Cap look is cyclical as well.
It starts out resembling the classic Cap comics suits, and continues to evolve throughout the numerous Rogers appearances in the MCU. This comes full circle with the inclusion of the scale mail. Couple that with all of the great thing from the modern suits and you have basically a perfect suit.
