Smallville, CW Network

At the end of the year, The CW’s Arrowverse shows will crossover for the classic DC event Crisis on Infinite Earths. Since its reveal, there has been numerous news of returns, such as Brandon Routh playing the Kingdom Come Superman and Tyler Hoechlin returning as Supergirl’s Superman.

Other DC favorites Kevin Conroy and Burt Ward are joining the seminal crossover.

The list is growing even more with the announcement that Tom Welling is coming back. After playing Clark Kent for 10 years on The CW’s Smallville, Welling returns as his version of Clark.

His inclusion means there will be at least three different versions of Superman to fight in the crisis.

As well as Tom Welling, Smallville’s Lois Lane (Erica Durance) will also be returning. A picture featuring the return of Tom and Erica has been revealed.

Take a look at Clark and Lois 8 years later below:

Tom Welling is the third Superman in the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover. This means he’s joining Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh.

And speaking of Brandon Routh, the CW has released an official look of him as the Man of Steel.

As confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con, Routh will be playing the Kingdom Come version and it looks amazing.

The casting doesn’t stop there though. It’s also been announced a cast member from The CW’s Birds of Prey series will be involved.

While Rachel Skarsten (Black Canary in Birds of Prey) plays the villain for Batwoman, Ashley Scott will reprise her role as Helena Wayne. In the Birds of Prey universe, Helena was the alter-ego of the Huntress.

In the Arrowverse Jessica De Gouw plays the Huntress but unfortunately, she hasn’t been seen since Season 2 of Arrow.
