‘Avengers: Endgame’ Marketing Budget Tops $200 Million

If you thought Marvel would ride the momentum from Infinity War and let the MCU’s reputation drive ticket sales, you would be wrong. Avengers:

Endgame already broke the pre-sale ticket record, but Marvel is topping every other MCU marketing campaign. According to a report from Deadline, Endgame boasts the biggest marketing promotions campaigns in the history of the MCU.

Infinity War hit just above $150 million and with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Marvel spent just $80 million. Marvel is not holding back with Endgame. The studio drops new television spots with almost a daily frequency.

Two new spots are now airing on television. In the first spot, the film boasts that it will usher in the Summer, and a featurette talks about shooting the film with IMAX cameras. Check out the clips below:

Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers — Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner — must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos — the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
