‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Trailer Promises Horror

Stranger Things was originally released on Netflix in 2016. Since then, audiences have come to love the characters and stories. It also launched the careers of Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo and Sadie Sink to name a few.

The series follows a group of teenagers contending with a supernatural world. Over the past three seasons, they face creepy creatures, evil people and a world that’s upside down.

The wait for season 4 has been a long one. For a while, all we had was a teaser showing fan-favorite Hopper is back.

Take a look at it below:

Admittedly there isn’t a lot in the trailer at first glance. It shows the group investigating a house that appears to be haunted. The beginning of the trailer plays like most supernatural horror movies set in houses. That could be a clue to where this season is going.

It seems like the house has a connection to the upside-down.

But the most important part comes from its name, Creel. Fans were excited to learn one of horror’s greatest icons is coming to the series. He’s jumping out of your nightmares and into a psychiatric ward.

The man we see in the flashbacks is Victor Creel. In the present day, Freddy Kruger himself, Robert Englund, is playing him.

It’ll be interesting to see how this storyline plays out given Eleven no longer has her powers.

Meanwhile, Hopper, who everyone thinks is dead, is in a Soviet gulag. On his side, it seems he’ll be contending with human and supernatural enemies.

Whatever happens, we can only hope for a reunion between him and Eleven by the end of season four.

It’s been three years since the end of season three and season four can’t come quick enough.

Stranger Things season four drops in 2022 only on Netflix.
