‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ Gets another Full Trailer!

The upcoming David Green film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows gets another full length trailer, ahead of its June 3rd theatrical release. The Ninja Turtles are back in their sophomore film since the franchise was rebooted in 2014. The film will see the return of Meghan Fox as April O’Neil, and also star Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman, WWE’s Sheamus as Rocksteady, and Stephen Amell as the vigilante Casey Jones.

The Turtles are back, and this film looks to correct some of the miss steps from the first film. Fans of the franchise were not pleased with a lot of the creative choices that were made with the design of the characters, and the tweaking of their origin story. Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows looks like a really fun film, and one that more of the core fans can rally around.

Set to Beastie Boys Don’t Sleep Till Brooklyn, this film will finally bring Rocksteady, Bebop, and Krang to the big screen for the first time. The Turtles design looks a little more toned down, and a lot of the ‘found junk’ has been removed from their appearance. This was my biggest issue with the first film. It seemed as thought the character design was a bit much, and just wasn’t practical. I don’t know if you can even say that bring Dimension X and the Technodrome to film is truly practical either, but it still looks like great fun.

I have to admit, although I was skeptical about a sequel to 2014’s devastating Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this trailer looks really great. It has everything a fan could want, and now that we have had time to get used to the way that the Turtles look, Fans can finally relax and enjoy the film.

The Turtles will be coming out of their heels on June 3.
