4. ADAM WEST
When observing Adam West’s portrayal of the Caped Crusader, it exists on a much different level than what we have come to know from other on-screen portrayals of the character.
It’s campy and very much a product of the entertainment of the groovy 1960s. It’s not serious, nor is it deep in regard to the character’s mystique and tragic past, but Adam West owns his version. He’s fully aware of the camp and just goes with it.
Combine with a sense of nostalgic love, I appreciate West as Batman because of how much fun it is to watch. His Batman is the least serious of the bunch, but the show is still a fun watch.
