In the wake of a slew of glowing reviews for Andy Muschietti’s The Flash movie, Warner Bros. Pictures drops the final trailer for the film. You can grab tickets for the movie now nationwide, as presales are ramping up.

The DCEU’s no stranger to fantastic reviews in the lead-up to a release, but the early reviews and screenings are not only from executives and paid critics. They’re coming from everybody, critics and casual movie-goers.

Check out the trailer below:

Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past.

But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.

That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life.

But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

Easily one of DC’s most popular characters, this film’s the first time the character gets a feature-length live-action film. The Scarlett Speedster’s been gracing television screens for decades. The most-recent actor, Grant Gustin, recently left the role.

The film’s had a slew of controversy from a revolving director’s chair, numerous script rewrites, and Miller’s recent legal troubles. At one point, the film almost died in production. If reviews are correct, that would’ve been a colossal mistake.

From the little bits strewn across the trailers, fans of Affleck’s Batman fight scenes from Batman v. Superman get some juicy, Dark Knight fight sequences in the movie as well.

Andy Muschietti (It) directs The Flash, with Ezra Miller starring. The bigger question for DC is will Miller’s Flash survive the events of the film, or will he sacrifice himself making way for James Gunn to recast the speedster.

The Flash stars Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as different multiverse versions of Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, and Michael Shannon as General Zod. Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, and Antje Traue also star.
