The Game Awards 2016 took place the other night, and some new franchises finally got the recognition they deserve. The Awards have quickly become gaming’s biggest awards ceremony. Now, with three years under their belt, they have increased the awards they give, and are taking the industry by storm.
The Game Awards brought us some big exclusives this year in addition to announcing winners. There were multiple trailers and announcements launched at this years ceremony. Some of the big game announcements came from Halo Wars 2, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Death Stranding (a new game from Hideo Kojima), and the newest Telltale game, Guardians of the Galaxy.
