The wait is over. Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a few hours away. Do you have all of your snack ready? Did you call in to work tomorrow? The 3-year-wait is almost over.
For three years, DC fans lived with the fact that their first big superhero team-up movie was a complete-and-utter dud.
But a ray of hope emerges, as a deal between HBO Max and Warner Brothers Pictures brings Zack Snyder’s Justice League to audiences.
HBO Max would fund the completion of the unfinished film including the visual effects and even paid to shoot additional footage for the film. The four-hour epic film will resemble the previous JL film, but will also be noticeably different.
So, when will the movie drop to viewers? Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be available to stream on March 18 at 3:01am ET/ 2:01AM CST/ 12:01am PST only on HBO Max.
If it wasn’t for HBO Max, Zack Snyder’s cut would not have ever seen the light of day. What better way to appease the angry mob, than to give them a chance to see the SnyderCut of Justice League, an edit that was only rumor?
HBO Max needed exclusive content and this was the very way to suffice that. This is the main reason that the SnyderCut will only be available to stream on HBO Max.
If you live outside of the United States, there are was that you can watch the film.
HBO Max is only available in the U.S. The film hits worldwide, with the exceptions of Japan, China, and France, where the release date remains TBD. These are the worldwide ways to view the film:
PVOD, PEST, EST, SVOD, TVOD, HBO linear, and on HBO Go (in HBO Europe and HBO Asia territories), or via a local TV provider.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will not leave HBO Max, because the film’s truly an HBO Max original. This is unlike the other Warner Bros. films.
All of which drop on the streaming service for 30 days after the launch date, before being removed.
