Although the film is still months away from filming, the first official teaser trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie hit the internet. The newest film ignores the newest reboot movie, and instead serves as a direct sequel to the original films.

Jason Reitman, the son of the original film’s director Ivan Reitman, is directing and co-writing the film. The film will not ackowledge the 2016 reboot, Looks to begin production sometime this Summer.
This is not the only Ghostbusters project on the horizon at Sony Pictures. There is also an animated film in development at Sony as well.
