Reviewing can sometimes be a chore. You agree to listen to something you’re not expecting to like so you can develop contacts amongst PR firms. Out now, Camp Songs Vol, 1 charms the listener for a variety of reasons and everyone is sure to find something to like. First of all, Mr. Whirly creates a fun atmosphere that is infectious. A multi-instrumentalist, the more older music lover will be able to appreciate Whirly’s talent. He firmly understands the Dixieland genre fully and lays out an impressive landscape that the songs are set against. According to his web site, Whirly is a one man band. He became enamored with “Kindie Music” scene and started to create. Based on this album, the sky’s the limit.
Though a lot of well covered songs make up the album, Mr. Whirly manages to keep them both fresh and and enjoyable.
Secret Agent 23 Skidoo is back with a new album as well, entitled Infinity Plus One. This Kindie Music artist is a right turn departure from the Dixieland jazz/Blues of KB Whirly. 23 Skidoo dances to his own beat and what a beat it is. Most noteworthy is the artist’s rapping style. While rap is a diffcult musical genre to tackle even in its original form, doing it and pulling it off is all the more impressive, which 23 Skidoo does. Most of all, even though Infinity Plus One is a bit out there, the artist keeps it afloat.
In conclusion, if you are looking for safe and fun entertainment, these two kindie music artists are excellent choices.
