Kevin Feige Not Pleased With ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Leaks

Marvel went through great lengths to keep the details of Avengers: Endgame from leaking out before the film hit theaters. Now, after the film is here, fans are turning a blind eye to footage and plot leaks.

Some footage hit in a big leak last week before the film hit theaters. During the premier for Endgame Kevin Feige spoke with the Associated Press about his disdain about the leaks, but praised fans for avoiding the spoilers:

“I wasn’t pleased. It’s not cool. It’s not fun. But the response was what I expected, which was everybody turning it off, dismissing it [by saying], ‘Don’t watch it, don’t spoil it for anybody else.’

People are excited to see the movie fresh. People are excited to see the movie for the first time. That’s what they’ve been waiting a year or 12 years, depending on where you joined us. I’m excited that that day is finally here.”

Avengers: Endgame is shattering records domestically and around the world. On Wednesday, when the film released in China, it broke the single-day record for that market with $107.2 million. 99% of all tickets sold on that day were for Endgame.

The numbers for the domestic box office are not out yet, but should hit in the early morning hours.
