New ‘Star Wars’ Series and Movies Revealed

Rogue One is a popular Star Wars movie. It might even be the best of the Disney Star Wars movies. The next series is going to be a prequel to it and focus on one of Rogue One’s characters. Cassian Andor, Diego Luna, is the protagonist of this spy-thriller showing the formation of the rebellion.
The series is created by Tony Gilroy who wrote the first four movies in the Bourne franchise. He is also a co-writer on Rogue One.
With these two facts in the mix, Andor sounds like it’s going to be a thrilling and exciting series.
Joining Diego Luna is a stellar cast. It consists of Stellan Skarsgard, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller. Genevieve O’Reilly is reprising her Rogue One role as Mon Mothma. There’s no word on if Alan Tudyk is returning as K-2SO or if we’ll see Jimmy Smitts’ Bail Organa.
Hopefully, they appear at some point and they bring Forest Whittaker’s Saw Gerrera with them.
Andor is in production in London and airs on Disney+ in 2022.
