If loose lips sink ships, then Marvel has a huge torpedo in their camp. Star, Ryan Reynolds finally confirmed that the rumors are true, Deadpool 3 is in the works at Marvel Studios.
In a recent Holiday Edition of Live with Kelly and Ryan, Reynolds told Ripa and Seacrest that Deadpool’s coming back soon:
“We’re working on it right now with the whole team. We’re over at Marvel, which is the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kind of crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.”

This will be the first Deadpool film made by Marvel Studios. Twentieth Century Fox previously owned the rights to the franchise, but returned to Marvel after Disney’s $71.3 billion Fox buyout.
Although fans celebrated the character’s return to Marvel, there’s a bit of apprehension with the franchise moving forward. Essentially, fans on’t want Deadpool to change.

The first two films in the franchise landed R-Ratings, a rating some say Disney will never stand for. It would be foolish for the House of Mouse to change the formula of Reynold’s antihero. The first two films nabbed $1.5 billion globally on budgets of $58 million and $110 million respectively.
Marvel chief Kevin Feige and Disney CEO Bob Iger previously both stated that the franchise should stay in the R-Rating category moving forward.
